The 2025 Washington International Young Artists Music Series

The 2025 Washington International Young Artists Music Series application is now closed. WIYAMS presents 3-4 concerts annually, offering selected musicians a distinguished platform to showcase their artistry. Each artist benefits from comprehensive support, including the WIYAMS Young Artist Certification, pre-concert interviews, and professional photography, videography, and audio recordings. Additionally, performers engage directly with audiences through post-concert receptions and have the opportunity to perform at prestigious concert halls and diplomatic venues across Washington, D.C.

Application Process

We invite applications from dedicated solo performers and ensembles who demonstrate exceptional artistry and a commitment to advancing classical music.

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must be current undergraduate or graduate music students or music graduates. A video audition (4-20 minutes) is required, with at least one piece under 8 minutes. The recording must have been made within the past year. Additionally, applicants must submit a professional headshot and a biography (150-200 words).
